Attorney Martin Minnella, or Marty as he is more commonly known, A lifelong Connecticut resident, Attorney Minnella began practicing in 1974 after graduating from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA with a BA degree in Business and receiving a Juris Doctorate of Law Degree from the New England School of Law, Boston, MA. Attorney Minnella was honored with the American Juris Prudence Award from Lawyer’s Cooperative Publishing for excellence in the study of criminal law, civil procedure and constitutional law.
Attorney Minnella has been successfully protecting the rights of individuals throughout Connecticut for over 49 years and is well known for his compassionate and steadfast approach to legal representation. Attorney Minnella has focused primarily in the area of criminal defense and ancillary civil and administrative matters. He has tried dozens of full jury trials in state and federal courts, including many high-profile cases. Attorney Minnella is also experienced in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of civil matters.
In addition, he has been featured in Netflix’s Untold: Crime and Penalties (2021) and Discovery+, Shock Docs: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021). He has also been featured in People Magazine, as well as a guest on Good Morning America and the subject later became a TV movie starring Kevin Bacon. Outside of his legal work, Attorney Minnella is a member of the NY Athletic Club, NY, The Hartford Club, Hartford, CT and a founder of the Minnella Law baseball team in the Twi Met Baseball league. He is a founding member of the Connecticut Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, a member of the CT Bar Association, & Federal Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, Washington, DC.

Attorney Raad provides strategic, effective, and compassionate criminal defense for clients facing charges throughout Connecticut. He handles the full spectrum of criminal matters and has tried numerous cases to verdict involving serious felony offenses—earning not guilty verdicts and hung juries through meticulous preparation and persuasive advocacy.
His practice also includes appellate litigation, and he has argued before the Supreme Court of Connecticut, demonstrating both depth and versatility in his legal skillset.
During law school, Attorney Raad interned with Minnella, Tramuta & Edwards, where he gained hands‑on experience assisting with complex criminal matters. Upon admission to the Connecticut Bar in 2023, he joined the firm as an associate.
